BIKE FUN International Company (BFI) was founded in 2002 by a group of Dutch Investors. Production facility and administrative office is located in Koprivnice (CZ), 16 km from International Airport Ostrava – Mosnov. BFI started to produce children bikes with brand name BIKE FUN KIDS for Benelux market mainly. The Company also began to produce bikes under its own brand name SUPERIOR and to distribute the high performance brand’s line of bikes across the domestic market. In addition to this production range, the company also makes bikes of other well known brands such as Cortina, Golden Lion, Vanmoof. In 2008 BFI introduced its STR brand of bicycles that are focused on the quality bikes with Shimano equipment at an affordable price to reach a wider range of customers. The following year, BFI bought ROCK MACHINE brand - internationally respected for high quality, original design and innovation that reflect the newest trends and customer demands. BFI currently possess a portfolio of strong brands and will continue to build its successful business and strengthen its position across international markets. BFI produces and markets a wide range of bikes, including Mountain Bikes, Cross and Trek Bikes, Racing Bikes, City Bikes, Junior and Kids Bikes. This portfolio enables BFI to satisfy any customer requirement in terms of style, features, function and price. The company has around 180 experienced employees. Current production capacity is approx. 110.000 bikes per year. Export is 80% of the total sales volume, main directions of export sales are Holland, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland and Austria, 20% are intended for Czech market (Superior, STR, Rock Machine bikes).
